Howdy

Wow, I have been away awhile.  I couldn't find the camera lead and then I just went bleurghhhhhh and don't even ask about the re-wiring!!!!!

I've been ready to start again for a few weeks now but the thought of trying to sort out what I wanted to share has put me off again.  So I have now decided that instead of worrying about it I'll just blog about one thing at a time until I am all caught up.  Hope I've kept a few people who like checking in.

H's middle brother got married in July.  It was quite local but we decided to check into the hotel for a few days to make sure H could rest as needed.  It was much easier not rushing round like a mad thing.  The downside was that the accessible room was lacking - who thinks it's ok to sell a room as accessible but the person in the wheelie can't push themselves into the room as the doorway isn't wide enough - grrrrrrr.  Anyway, that aside we had a really good few days and celebrated with 2 people very much in love.  I don't have many photos as I got kidnapped by the flower girls but I do have a few before the ceremony.

I loved the lights in the venue.  Do you think they'd look good in my living room?

  1. Nice to see you blogging again. Lovely photos, aren't H, his brother and his dad alike. Hope everything's going well for your mum, I've been thinking about you all whilst you've been away.

  2. Glad to see you back! I was MIA as well!
I love the light up letters; I've seen them at a few events, and at a Bat Mitzvah we went to they spelled out the girl's name. What would you get the lights to say in your living room? Sometimes I'd like "Home" and others I'd love a set that say "Leave Me Alone!!!"

    1. I'd like one by the main door that says "You're not coming in without cake" but I reckon I'd need a big window for people to notice it! Not sure what I'd have mine saying. I do have a light up star for the fire place that I love and I keep talking myself out of buying a light up flamingo...........
